About the Event
Apportionment is one of the most important functions of the decennial census. Apportionment measures the population and the census triggers two different things;
1. Redistricting; which affects U.S. House Seats and it also triggers
2. Apportionment; which is a countywide effort to redraw the lines of county commissioner districts.
So, the apportionment Commission in Muskegon is focused on redrawing the county commissioner districts.
