Endorsed by Trump

John Gibbs is one of our new congressional candidates here in Michigan running for Congress in the 3rd District, and he has been Endorsed by President Trump! Due to the recent redistricting of the state, a portion of Muskegon County will now be in the 3rd District. The Muskegon County Republican Executive Committee had the privilege to meet Mr. Gibbs Monday evening. He has had a very impressive journey that has led him here to the Congressional race.

John is from Lansing, MI and grew up in a humble family with two sisters. He has never been married, as he believes it has been God's will, but believes it will be in his future. You will understand why as you read on.

Gibbs Helped Develop the iPhone

Mr. Gibbs attended Stanford University in California after high school, majoring in Computer Science and Japanese. From there he went on to work for a cyber security company, Symantec. No, he was not involved in rigging the voting machines. There after, Mr. Gibbs took on a job working on the development of cell phone technology, first working on the Palm and Palm Trio phones and then venturing on to Apple to develop the iPhone. Gibbs stated that while testing the iPhones by using them as their personal phones, they had to keep them hidden from view of others, so as to not strike up curiosity because no one had yet seen technology like this before, and they had not yet been announced or released to the public.

Led Into Mission Work

Led by Holy Spirit, Mr. Gibbs ventured into missions work by joining "World Venture Missions." This gave him the opportunity to be a missionary in Japan, as he was able to speak fluent Japanese and had already spent time there in an exchange program while attending Stanford University. The Japanese are not Christians and lack relationships in general. Because of this, Mr. Gibbs said they will not enter a church for a church service, but will for meetings and events. By way of creatively using his technology skills, Mr. Gibbs held "Silicon Valley Nights" to draw people into local churches. While teaching technology, he was also able to minister and get many Japanese people Saved. He also would walk up to the homeless living on the streets, and introduce them to Jesus. He spent 7 years in Japan.

Dangers of Obama Care

John Gibbs political career began while at Stanford. There he wrote for a Republican paper on campus. After returning home from Japan, Obama was our current President, and Mr. Gibbs could see the problems and dangers of Obamacare and other policies being implemented. Again, led by the Spirit, he felt compelled to get involved and enrolled in Harvard University where in 2016, he received a Masters degree in Public Administration.

Appointed By President Trump

Thanks to a friend, he acquired a job in the Secretary's office of Dr. Ben Carson in May of 2017. He later was appointed by President Trump to head the Office of Community Planning and Development, became the Director of the Office of Personal Management (OPM) and worked on the 1776 Commission. Mr. Gibbs returned home to Michigan after the January 20th, 2021 Inauguration of Biden.

First Hand Witness to the Evil in Washington

Working in Washington, he was witness to the evil that is maintained there, and seen first hand the tricks, schemes and temptations the lobbyist entice politicians with, along with the submission of politicians to the corruption. Being a Godly man and patriot, he was able to avoid the entrapment. Mr. Gibbs said that being a lobbyist is a high-paying job in Washington, as long as you don't identify with a party and keep your head down, you can party and live a good life, while making $250,000+/year. But it's a dirty job of conniving, manipulating and corrupting politicians to go against the people they are sworn to serve for the benefit of wealth and power.

Man of Integrity

John Gibbs seems to be a man of integrity who will not refrain from upholding Christian values and the Constitution. It was a pleasure to meet him and hear his story.
